The weight of waterproofing materials in the Powerex method is significantly decreased (7 kg/m2) and is one twenty-eighth that of conventional asphalt. The UPM-U method was developed taking into account the impact of car parking and driving. This is a standard parking lot floor waterproofing method in which urethane waterproofing materials (with outstanding stretching properties) and extremely strong hard-type urethane resin are used together.
